Tectonic Model

This is a representation of the wood flooring and an accent wall that will be located directly behind the reception desk. I want to create a focus on the desk and then allow the guest to experience the rest of the space. The material is translucent with a solid in the middle to reveal glimpses of the rest of the level behind the wall. The rest of the layout will be open.

Furnishings

These are some furnishings that I found that I will be using for inspiration to lead me into the right direction. They are modern pieces that combine warm materials with colder materials such as steel. They are multi-functional and will work in such a small space. A bed and breakfast serves many purposes and storage and space planning are very important to keep in mind.

Precedent

These are a few images that I am using as inspiration for the design process. They are pulled from modern interiors and are using bright and bold colors. They pull together traditional pieces and add up to date pieces and palettes.
